Our Story

After living in South Africa and Brazil, where he created Robles Family Cellar and Yves Wines, Yves decides to settle in his region of origin to produce French wines. Yves chose the village of Assignan, in the Saint Chinian region for its authenticity and for the unique quality of its wines. He is helped with the precious advice of Albin and Jean-Paul Gracia who produce wine on their “Domaine de la Femme allongée” respecting the values and the art of traditional wine making. All processes of the wine making is done on the Domaine: manual harvesting, vinification, bottling and labelling. It appeared very soon that a partnership was just the natural way forward.

Our Terroir

Located in the town of Assignan, our vines are cultivated at an altitude of 300m on clay-limestone soils, benefitting from a Mediterranean climate and a slight altitude, giving them an acidity suitable for aging wines. Winegrowers, respectful of tradition, are also aware of the need to preserve our heritage and biodiversity. Our vines are our pride. Harvesting by hand allows us to select the best grapes to make exceptional wines.

Our Products

We invite you to discover three grape varieties, “cépages”, emblematic of the land in the South of France. They have naturally adapted to the sunny days that bathe the Pays d’Oc. They will take you to lands of romance and tradition.
The variety of our « cépages » allows us to create blends which are adapted to the palets of our clients.

Merlot

One of the most popular wines in the world is produced from this grape variety. Traditionally used in the Bordeaux region, its qualities have allowed it to reach vineyards worldwide, bringing roundness and supple tannins.

Viognier

This grape variety from the South of France has almost disappeared in the last century. Being rediscovered, it is now coming into fashion. Very suitable to stony and dry soils, it produces very fine and high-quality white wines.

Grenache

Originally from Spain, this grape variety was introduced in France by the pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela. It produces powerful red wines and silky rosé wines, smooth and sweet to the palate.

Consulting

After having created Robles Family Cellar in South Africa and Yves Wines in Brazil, Yves is now returning to his roots to create a wine company in France on an estate in the region he is from, the South West of the country, 50 km south of Toulouse. Over years of creating wines, Yves has realized what the consumers taste requires. Crafted and tailor made wine. This is made possible by working hand in hand with wine makers and to accompany them in the creation of quality products and to ensure their sale by the selection of wines, their production, their blending, their bottling and labelling. The control of the “assemblages” and bottling will allow to offer a large range of products, representing the mosaic of wines from the region of the South West of France, at competitive prices.
